Amite Art Club was organized in 1961 by Mrs. Josephine Brumfield, Mrs. Margie Crowson, and Mrs. Merle Weigel, beginning with only 13 members.

Each Monday at 10 A.M. a group of members along with any interested artists have the privilege of getting together to draw and paint at the First United Methodist Church of Amite on Duncan Ave. Please join us on a Monday morning to create art!
